Summer Camp 2020
Thank you for your interest in our summer camp!
Sessions are capped at 10 children so that we can continue to keep the program intentional and with enough margin in our time together to create an environment that allows for intentional conversations.
Our Summer Camp currently operates as a week-long day camp from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm for kids ages 6 to 12. We meet and participate together in daily farm activities such as growing plants, playing with animals, and riding horses. Each day, we will go through a lesson plan, but the best moments are the unplanned explorations through God's word and the journeys we get to go on as we dive into great questions! Through the week, and with each place that we meet, there is a new lesson based in God's truth that reinforces what we will be learning from our sustainable partners as we learn about the various agricultural activities!
Summer 2020 Dates:
June 8 - 12
June 22 - 26
July 6 - 10
July 20 - 24
August 3 - 7
Please feel free to reach out if you need assistance as we have scholarships available.
Highlights from 2019
I was completely blown away at the way that our program changed and adapted to each session! The themes of each week were varied and SO life-giving!
Week one was about the power in our words: if the God of all Creation SPOKE things into existence then we have power in our words. We have the power to chose to encourage others and speak the truth. Some highlights below!
Week two was inspired by Romans 12 - encouraging us to not conform to the ways of the world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds, so that we can be a light to this hurting world.
Week three captured the heart of being a friend of God. We took a good long look at all of our lessons through the lens of Hebrews 10,11, and 12. These chapters really helped the principles of being a good steward and building our faith come to life! We can be confident when He asks us do be bold, and we can be sure that He does what He says!
In week four we filtered our lessons through the lens of Wisdom. My verse for this group was Ephesians 1:17 ~ "I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of WISDOM and revelation so that you may know Him better."
Week five was reserved for Lincoln Middle School! HUGE SHOUT OT TO MILL CITY CHURCH! Whoop! We dug deep into our God-given purpose: to know and be known by God. We were created BY Love FOR LOVE! And we have spiritual authority over our thoughts and the lies of this world. WOW! THIS WEEK! It was INSANE!
