About Us
Expanding Horizons Farm exists to teach the youth of our region about sustainable living and finding their sustenance in God.
We accomplish this by incorporating tangible lessons that encourage biblical principles to become spiritual realities illuminated in everyday life. We aim to inspire awe and wonder in the our participants and enable them to dream big into their passions and unique purpose. With every experience on the "farm" we allow an opportunity for our participants to "expand their horizons".
We love to see faith come alive in the hearts of kids. This experience is a fun and exciting way for your child to expand their horizons as they draw near to their Creator!

Our Story
Expanding Horizons Farm began to plant roots in Fort Collins in the summer of 2015. Our original camp was held at a single location. We had horses, chickens, pigs, lambs, cattle, a garden and even CAM the RAM! This was such a wonderful way to start our journey and press into daily stewardship. In November of 2017, we had a tragic barn fire on that property, but all praise be to God, not an animal was lost in the fire!
For the summers that have followed we have partnered with several different locations. Each location has served as a backdrop to the overarching theme that we are exploring that day. We have partnered with Happy Heart Farm, Council Tree Covenant Church, Northern Colorado Feeder Supply, Lynchland Stables, Imekke Stables, Town and Country Stables, and Smoke Stack Pottery. Our other Community partners have included FoCo Cafe, Atlas Meats, The Growing Project, BayBerry Fresh Farms, and The Welsh Rabbit Cheese Bistro.
Since our humble start, we have experienced substantial growth in numbers but more importantly WITHIN THE HEARTS AND LIVES OF OUR PARTICIPANTS! We have seen over 250 students engage in agriculture, be awed by the science in Creation and dig deeper into their relationship with God.
